  Come and join us in a fun knitting activity and  create your own Sampler Stitch Cowl. Adventurous beginners to experienced knitters will love this gorgeous knitted cowl just in time for the cooler weather.

  We'll start off with the basics, including how to:

  • cast on / bind off
  • knit
  • purl
  • learn  Stockinette Welts, 
  • Moss stitch, Mistake Rib stitch, 
  • Seed stitch, 
  • Diagonal Rib, 
  • and Pennant Stitch patterns 

  This course is held over three nights for a total of 6 hrs. of instructed time.

  Class maximum is 8 students.

  Learn an easy weaving technique and make a small unique hanging on a tapestry loom.

  Bring your own scrap yarns (maybe even your handspun) or use ours. All skill levels are welcome. A wall hanging is great for decorating a room or makes a lovely gift.

  Materials, including frame looms, will be provided for the class. Loom kits will be available for $10 if you wish to take one home.

  Register with a friend for a fun day out!

  Learn to spin sheep's wool into yarn!   Come out and have some fun learning an age old craft. 

  Play with a drop spindle, set up a spinning wheel,  wash some wool (if desired) and have some fun colour blending to make your own personal fun art yarn!

  In this Next Steps in Weaving class, using provided 15-inch 4-shaft table looms, you will learn to read a pattern, measure a warp, and dress a loom with lots of time to complete and weave a hand towel.

  Using 100% cotton, this would make a lovely  addition to your any bathroom! Knowing how to set up and weave a pre-designed project helps fill the gap between introductory knowledge and weaving independence.

  Class Pre-requisite: Introductory Weaving
