  PRACTISE your newly acquired sewing skills by custom making your own size pillow case for book lovers, sports fans, or that special person.

  LEARN to measure and cut out your fabric, sew your pieces together using the special burrito method and French seams for your finishing touch. 

  *Basic sewing skills and machine knowledge required.

  
  

  MATERIALS REQUIRED (preferably cotton or cotton blend)

  1. Main Pillowcase fabric 27” ~(69 cm) x 45”( or Width Of Fabric)
  2. Trim Fabric 4” ~ (10 cm) x 45” (or WOF)
  3. Cuff Fabric 12” ~(30 cm) x 45” (or WOF)
  4. Matching thread

  Sewing machines are available at the ACP, however, preference is to bring your own. (Ensure it is currently in good working condition).   Please let the instructor know if you require a machine.

  Class maximum is 4 students

• Weaving - Zigzag Tapestry

  Register

  Come and learn an easy weaving technique and make a small wall hanging on a tapestry loom! A wall hanging tapestry is great for decorating a room or makes for a lovely gift. If you have any bits of funky or special yarns, bring those along to add embellishments to your piece. 

  All other materials, including frame looms, will be provided for the class. Frame loom kits will be available for $10 if you wish to take one home.

  All skill levels are welcome!
