Weaving With Tabby – Mug Rugs or Personal Project – May 3 – 9:00 – 1:00

In this next-steps-in-weaving class, using provided 15-inch 4-shaft table looms, you will learn to read a pattern with weaves using tabby in between pattern rows and make the warp before you dress the loom.

Then you will begin to weave in class and finish the weaving on your own time at ACP.

Each loom will have a different pattern and so you will have the option of weaving two or more mug rugs, depending on how much time you have available. Instructions on how to take your mug rugs off the loom will be provided as well.

These mug rugs are a chance to try out a weave with tabby (such as overshot or crackle) which will advance your weaving confidence. If you do not want to weave mug rugs, you may weave a different small project.
