Youth - Sewing a Felt Animal (Ages 8+)

For ages 8 and up, a  perfect educational and unique arts activity for your summer! 

Using some basic hand sewing stitches students will create their own animal stuffy! We'll start the class with a few pre-cut pattern options in felt, learning how to stich pieces together, add stuffing, and embroider details. Next students will create their own pattern for an animal of their choice using the techniques above. 

We endeavor to use easy to source materials in our activities so participants can continue practicing even after the class if they so wish.

This class is $30 per registrant. All materials are included. The class is 3 hours long and instructed by Weavers' and Spinners' guild member Julia.

A completed permission form must be submitted for each participant at the beginning of the class. If the participant and yourself are both comfortable please complete and submit a photo release as well.
