Youth - Bookbinding (Ages 8+)

We will start the session learning how to make a small book using the pamphlet stitch technique. Following that we will learn a glue-free binding approach that relies solely on interlocking folded paper pieces.

We endeavor to use easy to source materials in all our classes so if participants wishes to, they can continue practicing the projects learned afterwards.

This class is $30 per registrant. All materials are included. The class is 3 hours long and instructed by Weavers' and Spinners' guild member Julia.

If participants happen to also attend the Youth-Stamp Printmaking  class the week following  on July 11, we encourage you to bring the books created here and fill them up with your handmade stamps!

A completed permission form must be submitted for each participant at the beginning of the class.

If the participant and yourself are both comfortable please complete and submit a photo release as well.
