Coiling for the first time

Coiling is a basic rim technique that you will use many times over. Anne will show you the basic technique to coil with one colour and how to coil more than one row.  For non-beginners who competently coil one colour, she will show the trick to adding colour and discuss how to add pattern.   Paper core and waxed linen in a variety of colours will be provided. 

Students will need to bring a gourd finished both inside and out.
