Gourd Shaker By Patti Blackburn 25”h x 6”w $40 This shaker is based on an old traditional native style shaker. A long dowel runs from the bottom of the gourd to the top of the shaker, with a ornate knob on the bottom and a ball on top. Circular gourd pieces painted gold and black suspended from the top ring of gourd as well as inside the opened gourd ‘clack’ when the shaking the gourd. The gourd itself and the gourd top are dyed a rich brown. Eggshell painted in gold tones trim the open edges, wth ornate eggshell lizards decorating the side of the gourd.
