Machine Sewing - Pillow Case

PRACTICE your newly acquired sewing skills in this Next Steps level workshop by creating your very own custom pillow case!

Learn to measure and cut your fabric, sew the pieces together using the special burrito method, and use French Seams for a finishing touch. 

*Prerequisite: Basic sewing skills and machine knowledge. 

REQUIRED MATERIALS: (preferably cotton or cotton blend)

1. Main Pillowcase Fabric: 27” (~69 cm) x 45” (or Width of Fabric)
2. Trim Fabric: 4” (~10 cm) x 45” (or WOF)
3. Cuff Fabric: 12” (~30 cm) x 45” (or WOF)
4. Matching thread

Sewing machines are available at the ACP, however, preference is to bring your own. (Ensure it is currently in good working condition).  Please contact us a head of time if you require use of a machine.
