Faux Stained Glass

In this class you will learn how to create a design on a gourd that will resemble stained glass. Adhesive lead strips will simulate stained glass leading, outlining the edged of the design as well as interior details . Followed by adding glass paints or acrylics, will you will be able to create a lovely stained glass effect.

Provided for this class are:

• Designs to transfer, or you may bring your own
• Adhesive lead strips
• Glass paint, acrylics and varnish

Students please bring:

• A cleaned gourd, opened or closed, at least 5x4 inches in dimension
• An Exacto knife
• A small sharp pair of scissors
• And a smile!
