Fire & Water - Artistic Challenge

Artisans Centre Peterborough challenges our community’s artists and artisans to produce a visual art piece interpreting the theme of "Fire & Water".

This challenge is open to all Peterborough and Kawartha artists. Let your creativity flow as you explore your unique interpretation of this theme in the medium of your choice, from painters to potters, fibre, wood, metal, stone, jewelry, leather, gourd, print, and more!  All entries will be adjudicated by a jury who will be selected from a variety of fields. Our Judges will view all pieces the morning of the event and select one piece, based on the criteria of artistry, execution, and interpretation of the theme, to be awarded a cash prize of $200. In addition a People’s Choice Award, with a cash prize of $50, will be chosen by popular vote. 

All are welcome to participate! There is a registration fee for applicants which will go towards hosting the art show.
