The class will cover the creation of either a garden dibber or a wool winder including blank preparation, design considerations, and basic spindle gouge techniques.

Garden Dibblers are used to poke holes in the earth when planting bulbs.  They are usually marked in inches to gauge depth and/or distance between plants.

Wool Winders (aka Nostapines) are used to create balls of wool that pull from the centre and do not roll away when knitting or crocheting. If you are new to Woodturning and have a Gardener or Knitter/Crocheter on your gift list this class is for you!
